Lyla Kim is interested in technologies that create value for humanity. She believes technology has driven increases in labor productivity and capital efficiency since the Industrial Revolution, and the pace is only accelerating. Looking ahead, she is particularly interested in automation, robotics, fintech, and other emerging technologies. Before joining LG Technology Ventures, Lyla started her career as an analyst at Morgan Stanley in Singapore and later transitioned into venture capital, investing in disruptive tech startups. Lyla holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Seoul National University.
